This Big basket tea comes from a 33 kg basket in private storage from the mid 80’s and is labeled Golden Label Shan Yuan Du Lao Liu Bao Nanjian (tea tips) HK.(Premium Standard Leaf Liu Bao Tea). In the 1960's to 1990's many teas had to be carefully and creatively imported from Mainland China. This basket's solution was that it was labeled made in HK which it definitely was not. This is a high grade small leafed Liu Bao which is of the highest Premium grade of leaf and with private collecting this tea is very clean and sweet tasting from dry storage. Dry storage HK is quickly becoming a coveted taste by many. It brews a dark brew which is classic agar tasting and nutty in its deep chestnut brew. 

Honk Kong aged from the mid 80’s this year is destined to be a future classic. It will infuse about 5 to 6 times with great flavor.
