This classic Kunming Zuncha Brick is the most famous production of the Kunming CNNP Factory. This recipe is the older slow fermented variety which brings out many flavors of the Shu (Ripe) Pu-erh. Some of the leaves are still slightly golden. This brick is well stored in Hong Kong and is clean and mellow with age. This is a classic brick that has great age. The oily paper is easily opened which shows the authenticity of the factory from Kunming. Some weight loss from age makes these bricks about 220-230 grams.
The taste is smooth and satisfying. It is a great example of this era tea and well worth drinking and saving. Bottoms up!
