Kuding- This special grade of our Kuding is a small leafed variety. This tea consists of the top leaves and budlets before they fully form into the larger leaf variety that we offer. The color of the dry leaves is a deep yellow and the smell is pungent. It is this classic ‘yellow’ color that is known in Chinese medicine as the bitter quality in herbs. This tea does contain 2-4% caffeine which is as low as a green tea, although they are different species of plants. There are many health benefits to Kuding tea such as cleansing and detoxifying as well as a digestive aid.
