This young Liubao tea comes from Guangxi and is quite nice even now. Considered also like a black tea, it is Guangxi's version of a Pu-erh that ages and mellows. This tea is quite popular in Malaysia, be some of the first to discover it here.
This tea comes out of 2 kg woven baskets where the tea can age and breathe. This tea consists of a medium size leaf base and has a black appearance. It is processed before going inot the baskets (making it seem like a black tea) and then the aging slowly takes the edge away. This tea is known, like Pu-erh, to be a digestive aid and soothing to the stomach after meals.
