This is a great cake for aging. It can be consumed now and has lost a good deal of astingency. The sweetness is predominant and it can be infused many times with good taste. Most of the green of the leaf is gone and it exhibits a light brown color of leaf when steeped. If the frost bothers you, then pass this by, otherwise this is an excellent cake with great flavor.
