This tea is loose packed in a 16 kg basket, similar to a Liu Bao Basket Tea. But these leaves are from Yi Wu old trees from Menghai in Yunnan. This was produced sometime in the 1990's under the authority of the CNNP Chinese National Native Products and it is hard to say in which factory this tea was produced. There is a big main ticket indicating the production and the bamboo basket has allowed this wild tea to age nicely.
This is a sheng raw tea and has many colors of leaves from dark brown to a deep green. The leaves are thick and flavorful. This tea lasts many infusions. It is good to drink now and will get even better with some more time. It is Honk Kong stored which has aged this tea to be very drinkable now. Starting to develop Chen Xiang old taste and it leaves a distinctive sweetneww in the mouth after drinking. A wise addition.
