This tea hails from the Menghai area in Yunnan. It has been stored in Hong Kong giving it an extra special richness a depth. The tea comes from the finest young tea buds which contain the golden tips. The tea is only 10% oxidized which has allowed it to create the special Lotus flavor. This is similar to the Red Daughter tea of the Xiaguan factory. The special Lotus taste is memorable and special. There is a deep ruby color and a mild yet distinct aftertaste. Slightly sweet aftertaste completes this Palace tea. Totally worth having some.
Honk Kong aged 30 plus years and natural storage conditon make this tea very special. It will infuse about 5 to 6 times with great flavor.
