Tuocha Pu-erh (Birds Nest) Vintage 2006 Yong Nain
Tuocha Pu-erh - This tea is about the same grade as the loose leaf variety, but in addition, it is packaged in the oldest known single serving of tea. These small "bird's nests" are the right amount for a small, Yixing pot or a full English size teapot. If you use the large teapot you will have a weaker tea, but one that can easily be served to novice drinkers without the boldness of Pu-erh brewed in traditional Chinese (Gongfu) style. Use full boiling water with one Tuocha and let steep 4-10 minutes to allow the nest to gently break apart. Can be steeped 2-3 times.
